15 Years: Rimmel Kate Moss Collection

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another post. Today, I want to give you a look at my picks from the Rimmel Kate Moss 15th Anniversary Collection. So, break out the Party Rings and let’s get swatching!

I’ve always loved the Rimmel Kate Moss collections, (can we talk about Kate Moss Matte 107? Yesss) and this one is no different. First of all, look at the packaging! Rose golden, summery, shiny. Perfect. I recently tried the Rimmel Kate Moss contouring palette and loved it, and it also boasted some lovely rose gold detail. I chose the three shades I loved the most, (and thought would suit me) from the six (!) that are available. I picked mine up at Superdrug where they are £6.49 each, BUT they currently, (as of 24/07/2016) have 3 for 2 on all of their cosmetics, so be sure to pick yours up too!

I purchased shades 51 Muse Red, 53 Retro Red and 56 Boho Nude. Here is how they look:

Everyone needs a ‘go to’ red, and while I love the shade 01 in the Kate Moss collection, this Muse Red shade is so bright and pops out at you so nicely, that it might be my new favourite ‘go to’ red. What do you think? I exfoliated my lips and had lip balm on them before I applied this but these lipsticks are so smooth and moisturizing you wouldn’t need to go to those extremes every time you apply them. (It’s just because I was feeling fancy and taking pictures – which is so hard for me to do, I’m not going to lie – this one alone I did 5 or 6 times and you can tell!)

When I was looking at the collection, I was first drawn to Retro Red – just look how beautiful! I think this one is going to be used a lot coming into autumn again. I love deep red and berry lipsticks, (which I think go really well with my brown hair and eyes but, y’know, also suit almost everyone) so this one I had to get. Had to. No question.

Anyway, on to the next (and final) shade. I’m always worried about nude lipsticks. I have been VERY wrong on what shade I have needed before, (we’re talking foundation matching lipstick, nightmare) so I was apprehensive about trying this shade. Fortunately for me, I think it’s quite nice! It’s not too light in that it washes my complexion out or makes me look ill, and it’s not too brown. Here is Boho Nude:

To be honest, I really like all of these shades. I’m confident I will wear them all and I don’t regret buying any of them (which is always a plus!). Thanks for taking a look at this post and I hope you liked it! If you did, please leave a like and comment down below which one you like best from this collection, or from any of the Kate Moss lipsticks! Also, if you have any suggestions of products you’d like to see swatched or reviewed PLEASE let me know, I would love to!
