Top 5: My Winter Essentials

Winter is coming! December is almost upon us, so I’ve chosen five things that I cannot live without during the winter months!

5. A Lovely Scented Candle

I think a candle really beings a nice warmth to a room when it’s cold outside and I usually go for a Christmassy fragrance to put me in a festive mood. (It’s great when you’re watching a Christmas movie, writing cards or putting up decorations!) I am really loving this little candle from Primark. It’s only £1 but it really does have a strong fragrance. This one is Spiced Cinnamon!

4. A Versatile Eyeshadow Palette

Naked Palette essential for winterUrban Decay Naked palette is perfect when it gets to this time of year. (I use my Naked 3 religiously in the Summer months.) I find that this one has a great range of shades that can be used for a great neutral day look, then in the evening can be used to create a shimmery look or a smokey eye. (Perfect for party season!) My favourite shade in the palette is Half Baked, which is a great gold shade. I got my Naked palette from Debenhams!

3. Long Lasting Lip Balm

3 It’s impossible to live without lip balm in winter. My lips get so dry during the winter. I’ve tried so many different brands over the years, but when I found out EOS was going to be stocked at my local chemists I knew I had to try it out after seeing so many people using them online. I took advantage of the introductory offer and bought two different flavours! The mint (blue) one, is my favourite and I use it every morning when I wake up and again just before I go to bed. I very rarely need to use it during the day as the moisturising lasts so long! You can get yours from Beauty Bay.

2. Softening Skin Care

4 After being approached on Instagram, I have been sent a few samples of the LIQC serums over the past couple of months. I have tried out their Vitamin C serum (which I absolutely loved!) but more recently I’ve been sent this Glycolic Peel. I’ve been using it over the past week and I love it too! My skin looks brighter and feels more supple and smooth. I put it on after I cleanse my face at night and before I moisturise and I really have seen a difference in my skin. You can get yours here!

1. A Moisturising Lipstick

This on pictured is in the shade 520 Red-dy or Not and is a great festive red for Christmas time. As it’s a lip paint it’s extremely moisturising and pigmented. I love the sweet scent and the fluffy applicator leads to very smooth application. It’s also very long lasting as it gradually fades in colour instead of coming off in big patches of colour. I really would recommend these! You can get them from Superdrug for £4.99 each!

That’s my Top 5! I hope you enjoyed this blog post and you have some ideas for new products to try out this winter! If you did, please leave a like, and comment down below your favourite products for winter! <3
