*Disclaimer: I was sent this Sudocrem Skincare Cream to test, but all opinions are my own*

Sudocrem. Or to many, Sodacream. I had hurt myself, my mother often told me to, ‘Put some Sodacream on it’. I’m beginning to think there’s something to it. I was asked if I’d like to try out Sudocrem Skin Care Cream. I couldn’t turn it down.  Rita Ora, Cheryl, and Kimberley Walsh have all hailed it as one of their top beauty secrets! I can tell you right now, this tiny tube packs a powerful punch.

The weather has taken a turn for the worse over these past few weeks. It’s extremely cold and wet here in Northern Ireland (surprise, surprise). We always have that shock that it’s getting colder, even though it does every year! I decided to finally give this Sudocrem Skin Care Cream a try. My hands in particular get very dry during the colder months. I’m already hooked.

The cream itself has a very thick consistency, which I personally like, (think body butter consistency.) It sinks in to the skin with ease, and I’m not exaggerating when I tell you I could feel my hands were noticeably softer immediately. I could feel the effects of it for hours after that, and after using it for two weeks, the skin on my hands looked smoother. (It’s just like magic!)

One of the great things about this product is it’s versatility. It doesn’t give you any specific directions on the back of the tube, (which is a great size for your handbag!) so it leaves it open to use for almost anything. You can use this as a moisturising face mask, a spot treatment, to soothe sunburn or rashes, the list goes on and on. I’ve even used it on stretch marks. It doesn’t have an overpowering smell and it suitable for use on children and infants.  It’s also great for anyone on a budget as this tube costs only £2.09 at Superdrug!

I have to say that I have discovered the power of Sudocrem and I don’t think I can go back. It’s all very well spending £5 on a fancy hand cream with beautiful fancy packaging, but at the end of the day, the simple and well made will always be a winner. When you see Sudocrem Skin Care Cream out and about at Superdrug or Boots, pick one up, you won’t be disappointed.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Over the winter months, I am trying to cover a lot more skincare based products (but of course I will still be doing reviews on makeup!), if you have any product you would like to see reviewed, please let me know down below! X
