Pixi Beauty MatteLast Liquid Lipsticks * – Blogmas Day Twenty

I owe an apology. Between being sick, looking after my sick sister and working around Christmas it was incredibly difficult to get the last few posts of Blogmas done. However I thought I’d do one more and end it here, on Day Twenty.

So, I came through the door a couple of evenings ago and saw a little package waiting on me. It was my first EVER PR from Pixi Beauty. They sent such a gorgeous little locked fairytale book with some skincare (post soon to come but I haven’t tried it out properly yet) and these MatteLast Lipsticks!

I was of course super excited to try them out. If you’ve been here for any amount of time you’ll know I love the Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks because they completely dry down matte and have a nice formula. So, I was a little apprehensive at first as I thought perhaps these may not dry down the way I like them and I wouldn’t use them.

However, I am happy to report that these liquid lipsticks dry down completely matte and are transfer proof! I wore the shade Evening Rose out to drinks for a friend’s birthday and it stayed put the whole night and didn’t wear at all.

The formula feels very smooth to apply and it is super pigmented with one swipe. It is really light and thin so if you don’t like heavy lipstick formulas, I got you with this one. The applicator on these is quite unique (think L’Oreal liquid lipsticks/lipgloss) and I love that it’s not just a normal doe foot,as I think it holds more product (for less double dips) and is also shaped in such a way in that you can get every curve of your lips and it’s really easy to over line.

The shade range available in this package were all neutral which is great for me because as much as I love my ‘out there’ colours, my go to is always a nice neutral/rosy lip! The swatches here top to bottom are: Au Naturelle, Matte Beige, Pastel Petal, Really Rose and Evening Rose.

You can get these on the Pixi Beauty Website here for £16.

I’ll be back every day during December to bring you a post, so don’t forget to come back! Don’t be a stranger! Also, Day Five was a £25 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway! If you want to enter the link to that post is down below!

*I was sent these lipsticks for free to review.
